Founded in 1993, the organization helps women in war-torn regions rebuild their lives by providing financial and emotional support, job skills training, rights awareness and leadership education; “Silver for Soldiers” project collects loose change and bills for the VFW’s Operation Uplink, and provide phone cards to active duty military throughout the world.

Holy Trinity, Enfield - Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen in St. Andrew's Church operates seven days a week; Enfield Resources for Children, an after-school program which started at the church and now runs in three elementary schools and the junior high; Network Against Domestic Abuse; Enfield Food Shelf.
Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services (IRIS) - formerly Interfaith Refugee Ministry - Connecticut parishes help with refugee resettlement by sponsoring families, giving financial donations, and providing volunteers.

St. John's, Bridgeport - The Family Center, which started with the assistance of the Child Guidance Center and social service agencies to help children and their families; Habitat for Humanity; Person-to-Person, a ministry launched more than 30 years ago at St. Luke’s Parish, Darien in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is a volunteer program which provides food, clothing and scholarships. St. Mark's, New Caanan - Episcopal Bridgebuilders in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County and Americares Homefront; Meals-on-Wheels; Lion’s Den Book and Gift Store (nonprofit); New Canaan Get About provides rides in wheelchair accessible vans six days a week to the elderly and disabled; CaTS (Career Transition Services) sponsored by St. Mark’s Church and the Presbyterian Church in New Canaan, which provide support and counseling to people making a career change or have lost their jobs; Camp Hand in Hand: An independent summer day camp for young children from diverse cultural, ethnic, economic, and religious backgrounds; Pivot Ministries: A Christian residential program in Norwalk and Bridgeport that aids men at risk because of drugs and alcohol; New Canaan Food Pantry at St. Mark’s Church is a branch of the local Department of Health and Human Services. 
St. Mark's, Storrs (Mansfield) - St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Chapel (in covenant to support ecumenical social justice work); Covenant Soup Kitchen at St. Paul's in Willimantic; Windham Area Interfaith Ministry (WAIM); Habitat for Humanity; Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation (MCNR); Highland Education Project, a relief effort for people in the region, ranging from house painting, carpentry, to general clean-up tasks; Brotherhood of St. Andrew; Covenant Soup Kitchen in Willimantic; WAIM's Willimantic; WAIM's Adopt-a-Family.

St. Matthew's, Wilton - Domestic Violence Crisis Center; AmeriCares Homefront; Tag-less sale; Thursday Lunch Club provides meals to seniors; Bishop's Fund for Children; Bread & Roses, a residential program in Wilton for those suffering with AIDS; Children's Connection, a program of the Mid-Fairfield Human Services Council in Norwalk, serving more than 2,500 abused and neglected children; Carver Community Center in South Norwalk, providing daycare, after-school, youth development, educational programs, adult education and senior citizen programs; Center for Hope in Darien provides counseling and education for children and adults living with life-threatening illness or grieving a death; Family ReEntry in Norwalk provides rehabilitative counseling services and psycho-educational programs to offenders, ex-offenders, pre-trial defendants and their families; Interfaith Housing Associates, supports homeless single mothers, single men and women, and provides permanent housing for the formerly homeless and mentally ill, and transitional housing for recovering substance abusers; Mercy Learning Centerin Bridgeport helps women with reading and writing English, writing checks, and offers education in computing, cooking, sewing, music and art; Norwalk Emergency Shelter Pivot Ministries, a residential therapeutic program that helps recovering substance abusers in South Norwalk and Bridgeport; Nursing & Home Care, a non-profit visiting nurse agency serving Fairfield County, provides health-care assistance, referral services and community health programs; Wilton Social Services, a town department that oversees senior and youth services; Elderhouse, a medical model adult daycare center in Norwalk that serves a five-town area, including Wilton.
St. Michael's, Naugatuck - Ecumenical Food Bank (during holidays parish acts as distribution center for other churches); Naugatuck Teen Theatre (started 15 years ago as outreach to community); Mommy & Me program for preschoolers and their caregivers; Christmas toy sale (priced at 10 percent of market value).
