New vendor for background checks

The Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut has contracted with a new vendor to conduct background checks. A transition from the current vendor, Sterling, to the new vendor, SecureSearch, has been taking place informally for several months and the contract with Sterling will end soon.

The Council, appointed to conduct the business of the Diocese between sessions of the Annual Convention, began with a discussion of the role, responsibilities, and leadership possibilities for the Council.
