Good News - diocesan newspaper

 The Diocese of Connecticut publishes a newspaper, Good News, sent to all Episcopal households in the diocese, and some others as courtesy or upon request.

 Due to continued budget constraints and changes in reading habits, the diocesan newspaper will change to a magazine format to be published twice a year, starting in 2011. Technically, this will be a change BACK to a magazine format, as the official diocesan publication began in the early 1900s as a monthly magazine, then called the Connecticut Churchman.

Parish offices: Please request a Good News audit list, we're not yet fully able to send and receive electronic files for the database: Make changes on the audit, including deletions, and return with any new additions. Request of Sharron Ring, mailings@ctdiocese.org.

Advertising is accepted (but not for insurance, travel agencies, or financial instruments). Due to the changes in the publication and its schedule, contact the editor directly for advertising information.

Suggestions
The newspaper includes stories of local ministry and mission, some as brief "pearls" of parish news, and others as longer stories or features. Newsletters
All Connecticut Episcopal parishes are encouraged to add the editor to their newsletter's mailing list or online subscriber list, if they haven't already done so. The newsletters are the source for the "Parish Pearls." Send to Karin Hamilton, Good News, 1335 Asylum Ave, Hartford CT 06105. NOTE: Parishes already mailing their newsletter to Karin Hamilton, or to the Communication Office, don't need to send another copy.
