Due to budget cuts and staff restructuring, the position of Canon to the Ordinary was eliminated in July 2011. Link here to news release.  A new position, Canon for MIssion Leadership, was created.  It encompasses both transition ministry and oversight of the ordination process.  The Rev. Harlon Dalton was hired, effective 9/1/11, to serve as Acting Canon for Mission Leadership. There will be a full search at a later date to select a permanant Canon.
