Bishop Duracin, of the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti, writes on the 2nd anniversary of the earthquake in Haiti with a letter of thanks to friends, and some updates on reconstruction progress.

New vendor for background checks
The Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut has contracted with a new vendor to conduct background checks. A transition from the current vendor, Sterling, to the new vendor, SecureSearch, has been taking place informally for several months and the contract with Sterling will end soon.

CT Supreme Court to hear argument in an appeal of ruling re: Bishop Seabury Episcopal Church
On February 9, the Connecticut Supreme Court heard argument in an appeal taken from a ruling in favor of the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut in a lawsuit brought to determine rightful control of the real and personal property of Bishop Seabury Episcopal Church in Groton.
